Everywhere we look in society we can see or find some sort of porn. As a society we have already lost the war on porn.This article takes a look at how mainstream the porn industry is becoming. It also mentions how large corporations are investing and making fortunes in the porn industry, including big names such as AT&T.

This book refers to how porn has hijacked the sexuality of individuals in society, whether male or female. Some of the key points discussed were how porn desensitizes the viewers which forces the producers to be "creative" so to speak in order to keep their sales up. This book talks about the introduction of many different porn such as hardcore porn which includes both gay and straight. refers to the introduction of american ideology that paved the way for pornography to become acceptable in society.
Griffith, J. D., Adams, L. T., Hart, C. L., & Mitchell, S. (2012). Why Become a Pornography Actress?. International Journal Of Sexual Health, 24(3), 165-180. This article examines 176 female actresses in the adult entertainment industry and questions them about the reasons for becoming involved with the pornography industry. They find out what their likes and dislikes are within the industry. The most common answer on why they got involved with pornography was money,sex,and attention. Though this was not an accurate representation of female actresses, this gives an outlook on how women view the industry and how they become involved with it to begin with.
Lamb, S. (2010). Porn as a pathway to empowerment? A response to peterson's commentary. Sex Roles: A Journal of Research, 62(5-6), 314-317. This reference talks about perspective on sexual activity and how expected roles from each gender come into play. Everything learned in the bedroom is rehearsed and learned behavior. The article explains how porn directly impacts these behaviors and how society views sexual acts. The expectations of individuals are influenced by porn in a usually negative way. On the flip side many individuals use porn as a guide when no other information is available.
